: Also the kda rule would be discouraging af to new players. Like "Sorry wont give you xp you either a bot or just bad".
When I started, I lost every single game I played with real people, and had to retreat to bot games. If I had lost all those too, I'd probably have quit. I get that it could be discouraging for the people who are genuinely so bad as to be confused with bots, but there should be a tradeoff. I just threw out an example, but there could be other measures of poor performance that go below what a human would reasonably do.
: >when things have gotten so bad. I like how peopel think it got worse. It was always like that. But Bots were on TTL. >stopping LoL from running if they are detected Good luck with that. It's emulating your normal keyboard/mouse inputs. Won't work. >Alternatively, ruin the botters' business model by not letting them earn exp for going 0/6/0 in a bot game or something, but don't rely on a strategy that is clearly failing. Won't work either. They will just sit in base upon reaching certain death number.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's possible to distinguish between a bot and human based purely on mouse movements. Using runescape as an example, they claim to be able to be able to even tell if an account is being shared based on mouse movements, and about 30 seconds of searching led me to this paper which states that it s possible to do this: https://www.eecis.udel.edu/~hnw/paper/evasive.pdf Riot, being as large as it is could stand to implement a system like this. Regarding the kill threshold, that was just a hypothetical way of doing it. A lot of data gets logged for each game that's played. It seems hard to believe that none of that could be leveraged to distinguish between real and fake players.
: They ban them in waves, but botters keep creating new bots. Its a continuous problem. Its like fighting crime, we do it but crime still exists.
I understand this, but simply banning them isn't a viable long term plan for a free to play game when things have gotten so bad. Steps should be taken to either stop the botting scripts e.g. stopping LoL from running if they are detected (I don't know enough about the botting scripts to know if this particular example is possible). Alternatively, ruin the botters' business model by not letting them earn exp for going 0/6/0 in a bot game or something, but don't rely on a strategy that is clearly failing.

: Iron IV Vi
Someone got a free Vi skin and decided, it was time to main her I guess. Thanks for a good laugh.
: That would be just really bad luck. But there are some vacations at this point. So could be just that. But why don't use draft pick. There is no argue about a position and usually we are pretty chilled.... well most of the time.
So there's nothing like shadow banning where people are unaware of the punishment they may be receiving?
