: Idea new champ yoh'nil
DId you use google translate? It seems half french, half translated. That's making it a little harder to comprehend. The champion itself has some interesting mechanics. Making allies stealth would make for some interesting possibilities. However, the champion relies almost entirely on making people invisible and reducing enemy visibility. He doesn't have much other spells that do something. That means he is either insanely overpowered, or near-useless. You need to diversify his kit, especially that E spell.

: has league taught you a life lesson too?
It has taught me quite a bit about teamwork and how to do it properly. It learned me that attitudes can change if you give people the opportunity to do so. That raging and about-to-ragequit Vayne might just change his attitude when he gets a few kills. If you just give someone credit for something he think he did, he might co-operate better in the future.
: I was refused help by a rioter.
It would almost be funny, apart from the fact that there is nothing funny about OCD. Perhaps Riot thinks too lightly about it and that's why they don't pay any attention to it. So far, the only thing we can really do is keep it in this forum hoping that a Riot employee sees it.

: the ultimate noob champs
There are no noob champions, just noob players.
: how to hit high elo for real (warning i will properly offend you)
This is just the issues low elo players struggle with. "I want to carry games, how do I carry more?" - "Play champs with massive outplay potential, like Zed, yasuo, etc." "Ok I do that, but i still lose games" Meanwhile, they forgot that playing those outplay-champs only works if you are 2 divisions ahead of your opponent, which you aren't, cause you're bronze or silver. If you want to get out of low elo, play simple champs and watch them rage about using no-skill champions. What's the point in going for that amazing Zed or Yasuo 1v3 if a single {{summoner:3}} is just going to get you killed. And you don't need any skill whatsoever to use {{summoner:3}}

: I don't actually have a cable :P Besides it would have to be annoyingly long - or 6 feet straight down through the ceiling - so I doubt that's the issue. Thanks though.
I have a 20m Lan cable myself for when the WiFi isn't sufficient. Works a lot better. My access point is 2 floors down, so the signal isn't always strong enough. It's fairly simple to nail it along a staircase.
: Seriously now, How am i supposed to play a new champ if
Wait a day.....or two. By that time people have a slightly better grasp of what works and what doesn't. And playing against bots is useful for new champions. It gives you a good idea of how the abilities work, what a good way is to chain them together and how much damage they deal.
TTekkers (EUW)
: What reliable, quick and easy methods are there for checking your internet connection??
It your WiFi is too far away from your computer, it may occassionally drop the connection to your computer because the signal is too weak. Either move your PC closer to the access point, or use a LAN cable. Cables are much more reliable than WiFi.

: Question for thresh mains
Thresh is one of those champions that can pull off some really cool looking plays, but doing so takes a while to learn. If you're willing to put the time into it, go and master Thresh, as he is one of the more fun supports to play. If you don't have the time, pick an easier support. If you aren't good enough with Thresh, then other champions can do that job better.
: Most Wanted Positions
The main positions are probably mid and jungle. Mid is always popular, because of the assassins typically being played there and jungle has received a lot of changes, allowing people to use different jungle champs. They want to become accustomed to that. There are some issues though. I always select jungle/fill, but I rarely get to play jungle. Most of the time it's support, other times it's top or ADC, but rarely jungle.
Ekoby (EUW)
: Best support for Corki ADC
Any support works with Corki. I can honestly not think of one that doesn't work. Corki is the most versatile AD carry in the game. Poke? Check. Burst? Check. Waveclear? Check. Safe laning? Check. Strong early game? Check There is no obvious weakness that a support needs to cover for Corki. I've played Corki with a lot of supports and they all worked fine.

: New Sejuani build Season 6
I would advice against AP marks/quints. Sejuani has an awful early clear, which is why I run AS/AD marks/quints. You can switch for hybrid pen if you want to. I don't understand why you would ever build {{item:3025}} on a champion that can already chain-slow opponents. It's useless. {{item:3110}} is better in every way. The best way to go on her is to stack quite a bit of health, since her W scales off max HP and she gets armour from her passive. So you should build {{item:3083}} {{item:3190}} {{item:3800}} {{item:3742}} Lastly: 18 in resolve is the way to go now. Grasp >>>> Thunderlords for Seju
: On Verge Of Quiting LoL due to this new champ select
It does take longer, but previously queues could also take 5-7 minutes. Now it's about 7-10 minutes, provided there are no dodges. I expect Riot to implement some fixes soon enough to shorten queue times, like smoothening the ban speed, pre-selecting your pick when the person before you goes and auto-locking on your preferred pick if nothing changes.
: How do placements work?
Your placements are always conservative, meaning you'll almost always end up lower than you started. This is to prevent elo inflation where everyone ends up in higher tiers after a while, since you'll rarely lose a tier by losing too many games. I went from plat V to silver III and there are people that dropped way further down the divisions.
: Getting secondary role in new champ select to often.
If your secondary is support, you are less likely to get your primary role. If you really want to jungle, you're better off setting it to mid or top, since those positions are usually taken by primaries. It's a weird system, but it's only what I would have expected. I main jungle, secondary is fill, but I get to jungle in less than half of my games.
: is gankplank impossible to balance?
It's not impossible to balance him. The could have made those barrels a little less ridiculous and he would have been balanced. They give AoE crit, 50% Armour Pen, a slow and a reset on his passive. That's what I call overloaded.
: Tahm kench- 100% Ban rate in my games
Tahm Kench is not overpowered. If anything, he is a little weak. The thing with Tahm is that his kit is so absurdly toxic that no-one wants to see that abomination in their games. Playing against Tahm is nothing but annoyance and getting yourself f8cked all the time. The only solution to Tahm is to nerf him into the ground and leave him there.

: They want me to go tanky jungler
People don't have a clue when they say 'pick tank jungler pls'. It's just stupid. The pretend to know something about team comps, but the reason you are supposed to pick a tank jungler is that they failed to pick something appropriately when it was their turn.
Dixi Pixi (EUW)
: For those who didnt do the placements yet, do them after few months.
It doesn't matter that much when you do them. The chance for bad promos is always there. It's just a little higher now. Still, what's the problem if you get placed lower than you should be? I've had that same thing the past few seasons. In less than 2 months you'll be back at your actual rank if you keep playing.
: How can I "Fix" my MMR
OP.GG doesn't show your actual MMR. It just makes an estimate based on how many games you've won. Your actual MMR is hidden and could be different.

: Lulu Wild Growth (R) Bug
As far as I know, Lulu's ultimate is instant. I have used it in the past to interrupt combos that are normally faster than 0.5 seconds (Katarina or Talon combos for example). Perhaps it's only the knockup that's instant and not the health gain though.
: You cant be reported for feed!
You don't get instantly punished, except for when you AFK, becaues Riot uses a separate system to punish AFKs.

: How to counter Swain
Push early and push a lot. Swain has no meaningful waveclear pre-6, so he is forced to focus on farming instead of harassing you. You aren't going to kill swain easily, so instead you should be looking to roam and score kills in other lanes.
: favorite off-meta builds
What do you call an off-meta build that is effective? Meta.
: Is there any way to get the old Shen back?
Champion mains are never happy when their favourite champion gets updated. Fortunately they are only a small minority and Riot probably doesn't care about it and thinks about the interests of the large majority of the playerbase.

: Idea: Cassiopeia Mid with Smite?
The gromp buff works with Cassio's poison. I've seen people experiment with it before. However, the buff is pretty minimal. Gromp is far away from mid lane and your jungler needs it too, making you unlikely to get it for most of the game. Even if you do have it, enemies have to auto-attack you to get the debuff. Most champions attacking you will be doing so with spells, not auto-attacks. And if they are auto-attacking you, they are facing you, so you just ult and land Q and W.
: Janna not getting nerfed? There's a surprise.
When Janna is strong, you don't notice it. She doesn't one-shot people, or land massive AoE abilities that devastate teamfights. She isn't a terrifying lane bully. She just sits in the back line, not dying and making sure a priority target stays alive.
LightTrack (EUNE)
: Funny how noone seems to know how powerful Shyvana in late-game is.
She is really strong late. Mixed %Health damage is very hard to itemise against, so she will always deal a ton of damage. Unlike Xin or Yi, she also gets fairly tanky.
moonborn (EUW)
: soraka is actually my main i would be 100% happy if they reverted grevious wounds thing and just reverted soraka's nerfs on mana costs + Q range also. I played soraka before and she was perfectly fine, because her ultimate removed grevious wounds already so you just had to be smart and time your ultimate. now to counter soraka you have to assasinate her cos she can't remove grevious wounds on herself, is quite squishy, and if you focus her she will be forced to use her ultimate on herself and will heal with tickling amount. actually if you have a good assasin in team, soraka is really much weaker than she actually was before everything. for the rest in laning, the key is to focus soraka instead of her ADC, and have ignite in your lane. another way is to poke her, brand or zyra can totally outdamage her healing and she will be out of mana and health to sustain and forced to back/or die. in reality however what has happened, is that people noticed that soraka was actually pretty good. even in your comment you are talking about laning problems, and in s5 soraka actually had better laning before nerfs on Q and W mana costs. Soraka was still able to heal everyone by ignoring grevious wounds because her ulti would remove it. She was pretty much the same always, but people are harsh on her because she is FoTM {{item:3151}}
Agree with you. I'd love to see the grievous wounds changed if that meant the Q could be reverted. With her old Q range, she was actually able to poke in lane. If you were good with landing skillshots, you could deal enough damage and sustain really well that you could win the lane. However, with 125 less range on the ability, you have to expose yourself much more, which means trying to trade is so risky that it's hardly worth doing. Before the nerf, your range was similar to a {{champion:53}} grab or {{champion:89}} zenith blade; now it's less. If you try to land a Q on either of them, you will get engaged upon. So that means there is only one viable way to play Soraka. As a dumb, unskilled healbot. And only because her heal is so ridiculous without grievous wounds. Yes, Riot went to great lengths to make Soraka more than a healbot. With just one change, the removed everything and she is back to being a healbot.
Skere (EUW)
: AD vs Armor pen?
Depends on the champion. Some champions scale better with AD than with ArPen. Renekton for example has fairly good AD scalings, so I would run AD on him instead of ArPen. Remember that ArPen only helps with damage against champions. AD helps with CSing and turret killing as well.
SKT Apathy (EUNE)
: Perfect CS during custom games, but cant transfer it over to normal mode / ranked
Being able to do something and being able to do something under perssure are 2 completely different things. In the actual games, there are lot of factors added that make it more difficult to CS. If you think that you perform exactly the same when under pressure, you are overestimating yourself. Getting around 3/4ths of the CS you are getting in custom games is fairly good in actual games. And you are getting those numbers easily it seems, so that's good.
: Champions you should ban
Who bans those champions? Against all of them, the simple answer is: Learn to counter. {{champion:23}} His only power is splitpushing. Cripple the rest of his team with some hard engage, or just collapse and kill him and then deal with his teammates. {{champion:122}} Jump on him when he charges a Q, so the blade won't hit. Should make it easy to avoid 5 stacks of his passive. {{champion:420}} Heavily reliant on hitting skillshots. If she misses, she doesn't get the damage or the heal {{champion:36}} I'd probably ban him, but you can use %Health damage champions {{champion:67}} {{champion:102}}
: Do off-meta picks and unusual summoner spells affect your queue time in team builder?
Yes, you do get longer queues for 2 reasons. First, unusual positions have less demand. That means the system has to work harder to find a working team for you. It won't just create a team of 4 marksmen and 1 support, it will tend to spread the roles out a bit. Secondly, team captains are less likely to accept you when you play an unusual role and teammates are more likely to dodge if they see you in an unusual role. I have had some seriously bad experiences with unusual supports in team builder, as too many people use it as a shortcut to get in a team. This doesn't mean you can't play unusual roles in team builder. You just need to pick the right ones. I have played quite a few games as jungle Leona in team builder. That works, because tank junglers are often in much higher demand than fighter or assassin junglers. Therefore, you should gravitate towards the tank role (doesn't mean you actually need to play a tank though).
moonborn (EUW)
: exactly the same can be said about any other champion. {{champion:223}} is also more tanky if he goes top lane, or {{champion:78}} or anybody else. the reality is, is that he's just not popular and people are afraid of something they don't know and haven't experienced a lot.
There is still a thing called 'scaling'. Some champions scale a lot better than others. Champions like {{champion:89}} {{champion:111}} have very little scaling. They rely mostly on base values and cooldowns. Comparing {{champion:14}} to {{champion:111}} , they both have a lot of CC and a shield. However, Nautilus has a much higher cooldown on his shield than Sion. Consequently, Sion relies more on it to trade and deal damage. That means keeping his shield strong is more important for Sion. That's why he scales better.

Maybe you thought it was funny, but your teammates probably didn't like it. And given this chat log, I don't think anyone will treat it as funny. Considering a chat log like that, you seem to think quite highly of yourself. No-one will have mercy on that. And if they say "die of cancer", what's stopping you from saying "nope" instead of something that isn't nice.

: Supporter Runes and Masteries + ADC Runes
I only use 2 pages for supports. One for tank supports, which is armour/health/MR/armour (which is slightly more efficient than armour/armour/MR/health) And one for squishy supports which is hybrid pen/mana regen/mr/armour You could add a third one in case you play supports that don't need the mana regen (e.g. Kennen) which would be hybrid pen/armour/mr/AP

: [Summoner Spell] Revive Teammate
I can see no way to balance this ability. If it's strong enough, everyone will use it. Having an extra teammate around is an amazingly powerful ability, especially when combined with teleport or a global ability (Rek'Sai, Shen, etc.). Such a spell should not be put into the game, because it will create all kinds of brokenness, and if it doesn't, it will be a useless summoner spell.
Salito1311 (EUNE)
: Gragas
Jungle is probably the best place for him. He has good ganks and doesn't need a lot of gold to be useful, but his clears are a bit slow. You could lane with him, but he doesn't trade too well and will probably be restricted by his mana pool too much.
: Add control to shyvana
If Shyvana had any CC, she would be broken. She deals ridiculous damage once she gets close to someone. You need to stack slows on her, ranged slows preferably. {{item:3144}} {{item:3706}} {{summoner:3}}

It is silly indeed. Are there still people not running thunderlords?
: How can I be bronze 5?
Play badly without getting noticed. The best way to do that is to let your opponent do whatever he wants in lane. Give him all the CS he needs, let him push, roam and take your tower. You'll quickly fall behind, but your score is still 0/0/0, so you're not feeding. In teamfights, run around a lot, but don't deal damage. Misfire skillshots or just don't auto-attack. It will take some effort, because in some games it takes more than just that to lose.

: Why Is Lee Sin Never Nerfed
Lee SIn gets nerfed occasionally, but he will always remain a dominant early-game jungler that requires a lot of skill to do well with.
: Roam timing
Roaming from mid lane to help a lane that is behind is riskier than it may seem. It's quite likely that your route will be warded and if you get spotted, your roam becomes useless (unless it's in low silver/bronze). If you roam from the river towards a pushed lane that is ahead, chances are that they will instead collapse on you and kill you before your teammates can come to help. There are a ton of things that can go wrong when you roam, so you should plan it more carefully. It's more than just "go to lane - get kills". Any time is a good time to roam. Just keep 3 things in mind: 1 - Push your lane or force your opponent to recall, so they can't simply follow 2 - Beware of vision. If your roam gets spottec it's useless 3 - Don't roam when the opponent is about to recall. Seems obvious, but you'd be surprised how often people forget this.
